Rob Rule

Rob is an experienced arts administrator and events professional with a Bachelor of Music, a Masters of Arts and Entertainment Management, and in excess of 20 years of event management experience.

For many years Rob was the Concerts Office at the University of Tasmania’s Conservatorium of Music, and in 2018 was the Operations Manager for the Festival of Voices, along with experience across the retail, aviation, and local government sectors.  

Rob’s skills as a production manager and stage manager have been highly sought after, with his own business providing expertise in these areas, along with logistical support to festivals such as MOFO, Dark MOFO, and the Festival of Voices, and providing logistical expertise to various production companies. Rob’s business also supplies orchestral percussion and general backline to festivals, touring orchestras, theatre and music theatre shows, councils, and schools.

As a percussionist and drummer Rob has played with many different ensembles ranging from jazz through to orchestral, community through to defence, and as a pit musician has played on over 45 different theatre productions.
